Job Summary

Lead and manage the end-to-end credit control function to ensure timely collections and effective credit risk management across the assigned portfolio. Optimize working capital metrics such as DSO, ageing, and cash conversion cycle, and ensure appropriate ECL/bad debt provisioning under IFRS and group policy. Partner with Commercial, Operations, Treasury, and Legal while maintaining audit readiness, driving automation and continuous improvement, and managing credit-control teams with clear KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee Accounts Receivable, credit control, and collections to ensure timely cash conversion and adherence to credit policy.
•Optimize working capital metrics (DSO, ageing, cash conversion cycle) and drive effective collections strategies and resolution of customer disputes.
•Ensure appropriate provisioning (ECL/bad debts) in line with IFRS and group policy; review customer credit limits, payment terms, and high-risk exposures.
•Maintain audit readiness through documentation and timely closure of audit observations, and complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities aligned with corporate finance deadlines.
•Lead, mentor, and develop teams for the credit control function by setting KPIs, monitoring performance, and managing relationships with top-tier delinquent customers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a relevant field (Master’s degree is a plus).
•Minimum of 6-8 years in a similar role or relevant function.
•Fluent in Arabic and English.
•Experience in financial accounting and/or financial reporting, including proper provisioning (ECL/bad debts) in line with IFRS and group policy.
•Leadership, relationship-building, influencing, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills (including data analysis, forecasting methods, and reporting packages).
