Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead installation of electrical systems that interconnect customer residential solar arrays to grid power.
  • •Ensure all electricians’ work is compliant with NEC and local codes and meets workmanship standards.
  • •Complete assigned solar battery installations and safely perform main panel upgrades (MPU).
  • •Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues, including recurring quality issues and failed inspections.
  • •Mentor and train other electricians on Sunrun best practices and future role readiness; work with license holders, AHJ inspectors, and crew members as an electrical SME.

Salary: USD 51.27 - 68.36 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •1 year solar electrical installation and repair experience required.
  • •Experience wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC and replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels.
  • •Must possess a valid Journeyman License/Electrician Certification (or equivalent per local/state requirements).
  • •Demonstrated experience mentoring Electricians and a safety/customer focus.
