Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a commercial HVAC market. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems, using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, and mechanical layouts. Coordinate onsite work with team leaders and customers, maintain safety standards, and diagnose issues with support from technical training and tools. Work with internal and external partners on new setups and retrofits.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand onsite installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
•Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Use software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; typically 5+ years of HVAC experience, with technical school or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a hand-held computer (e.g., smartphone or iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, reckless/careless driving, or license suspension).
•EPA Certification.
•Use blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units using appropriate hand tools.
