Job Summary

Lead Fever’s tech-enabled Legal Operations function in Madrid, driving knowledge management and operational excellence across the Legal GRC & Policy team. Set strategic priorities, define KPIs, and oversee workflows and documentation standards to ensure efficient and consistent legal work at scale. Manage a team of paralegals and legal operations staff, champion emerging legal technologies (including AI and automation), and coordinate budgets and vendor spend while partnering with legal, risk, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage Fever’s Legal Operations function, setting strategic priorities and evolving a roadmap for global operational excellence.
•Drive underpinning knowledge management for efficient, consistent, tech-scaled legal work, including documentation standards and support systems.
•Oversee operational metrics by defining objectives and KPIs and tracking/reporting on operational performance.
•Evaluate, implement, and champion emerging legal technologies, including AI and automation tools, to improve quality, speed, and scalability.
•Manage a team of paralegals and legal operations staff, including performance reviews, mentoring, and professional development; also create and monitor budgets and vendor-related spending processes.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience in innovation, knowledge management, or tech implementation, including proven people management experience.
•Prior experience as a lawyer (in-house or law firm) or demonstrated understanding of operational needs across multiple legal fields.
•Demonstrated expertise in at least three areas: knowledge management, AI implementation, legal technology tools, process improvement, or operational management.
•Strong leadership, mentoring, strategic vision, and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
•Professional fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
