Job Summary

Move inventory between Amcor facilities and offsite warehouses by transporting trailers using tractor-trailer and powered industrial trucks. Load and unload production and equipment, ensure shipments are properly documented, and maintain product integrity and inventory accuracy. Follow EHS, Food Safety, and cGMP requirements while inspecting vehicles for defects and supporting warehouse housekeeping and traffic coordination as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement all safety rules and policies for powered industrial trucks, heavy equipment, and warehouse safety.
•Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
•Transport trailers and product between local plants and offsite warehousing using tractor trailer.
•Load and unload production/equipment using a forklift.
•Process, set up, and ship products from outside warehouses and maintain documentation, housekeeping, product integrity, and inventory accuracy.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED (strongly preferred).
•Valid driver’s license with good driving record and current Class A CDL license (or ability to complete CDL requirements).
•1–2 years of experience driving a tractor-trailer.
•Powered industrial truck operating experience.
•Computer proficiency; experience with Outlook, Excel, and JDEdwards is preferred.
