Key Responsibilities

  • •Support enterprise and operational risk transformation projects, using AI-enabled analysis where appropriate.
  • •Assess and enhance risk processes and controls across first and second lines of defence, identifying automation and AI workflow improvements.
  • •Contribute to market abuse and trade surveillance initiatives by reviewing controls, detection scenarios, and applying responsible AI to reduce false positives.
  • •Support AI model tuning and optimisation in surveillance environments with governance, validation, auditability, and human oversight.
  • •Engage stakeholders across business, technology, compliance, and risk to deliver collaborative, data-driven transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in enterprise or operational risk, ideally within financial services or management consulting.
  • •Strong understanding of market abuse regulation and trade surveillance frameworks.
  • •Awareness or practical experience of AI and machine learning applications within risk or surveillance environments, including model tuning and responsible AI practices.
  • •Experience documenting end-to-end processes, identifying risk/control gaps, and using approved AI tools to support analysis.
  • •Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business, technology, compliance, and risk teams.
