Key Responsibilities

  • •Coach and deliver OJT to GSS technicians to develop GSS-specific knowledge and skills.
  • •Deliver GSS maintenance services, including corrective and preventative diagnosis and rectification tasks.
  • •Produce routine reports for inactive user accounts and attend required meetings (e.g., SHE, service entry, factory and site acceptance tests) as directed.
  • •Provide GSS SME support to internal audits and ensure compliance with SHE and Quality Assurance standards across GSS activities.
  • •Supervise GSS administration activities for the delivery, mobilization, and maintenance of GSS installations supporting RSAF Typhoon operations, including installation/configuration/operation/maintenance of GSS operational infrastructure and administrator service delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •A recognised NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level technical/IT/computer science qualification (or equivalent) or a suitable technical apprenticeship qualification approved by M&CA.
  • •At least 5 years’ experience supporting aircraft ground capability (e.g., mission planning or maintenance management systems) OR 2 years after completing the BAESSA apprenticeship programme (SNTTP/TSNTTP).
  • •Familiar-level skills in supporting aircraft ground capability (mission planning/maintenance management systems) and awareness-level knowledge of continuing airworthiness and aircraft operation environments/weapon systems.
  • •Familiar-level skills of aircraft operations management and awareness-level experience of operations support services.
  • •Fluent English and Saudi Engineering Council (SEC) registration; desirable experience includes service delivery (3+ years) and relevant IT qualifications (MS Server, MS Windows, Oracle, McAfee ePO, Hyper Converged Infrastructure).
