Job Summary

Design and implement electrical engineering solutions for defense and security programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish architecture content and translate customer needs into achievable system requirements. Conduct system-level analyses, trade studies, and functional requirement allocation to subsystems, ensuring compliance with JSIG/RMF Continuous Monitoring processes. Perform security assessments, identify and mitigate program risks, and recommend system enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to establish architecture content and develop solutions that achieve customer needs.
•Apply Systems Engineering practices across system development life cycles and methodologies, including IT infrastructure management/monitoring.
•Provide analysis, design, development, implementation, and security assessments to ensure compliance with JSIG/RMF Continuous Monitoring tools and processes.
•Perform system-level analyses, conduct trade studies, and define and allocate functional requirements to subsystems.
•Ensure program requirements are met, identify and mitigate risks, and recommend and implement system enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and security.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 7 years of related experience; or 5 to 10 years of aircraft simulation related job experience.
•Experience supporting military or defense programs.
•Active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance granted or renewed in the last 5 years, and ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
•Experience with CAD software (preference to AutoCAD) and ability to interpret customer needs into achievable requirements.
