Key Responsibilities

  • •Bridge customer multi-million-dollar business problems to Databricks solutions through deep discovery, value scoping, and C-suite trust-building.
  • •Own technical and product direction from discovery through production launch: define MVPs, write PRDs, prioritize engineering backlogs, and manage scope.
  • •Lead technical discovery and design reviews with FDE engineers, pressure-test architecture choices, and identify risks early.
  • •Drive solution launch and adoption, managing production readiness across data quality, testing, security, performance, and operations.
  • •Plan ongoing maintenance and handoff, create documentation/training, and codify reusable solution patterns for future engagements.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically 7+ years delivering complex, customer-facing data, analytics, AI, or software engagements (or equivalent founder/technical builder experience).
  • •Strong product judgment: define what to build and why, write PRDs, prioritize engineering work, and lead complex agile projects to measurable outcomes.
  • •Technical fluency across modern data and AI architectures, including cloud platforms, data pipelines/models, distributed systems, APIs, security/governance, and ML/generative AI patterns.
  • •Hands-on technical ability using at least one language such as Python, Java, or SQL; explore data in notebooks and contribute to troubleshooting.
  • •Executive presence and communication skills to build rapport quickly and support senior stakeholders in difficult decisions.
