Job Summary

Transport ready mix concrete to construction projects and company facilities using ready mix trucks, following supervisor and dispatch instructions. Perform daily pre/post trip inspections, monitor vehicle gauges, maintain mileage logs, and keep the truck clean and orderly. Load/unload materials, support minor servicing and maintenance, and ensure deliveries meet required product quality while complying with DOT, company safety procedures, and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

•Transport ready mix concrete to construction projects, company facilities, and customers.
•Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain required documentation per DOT guidelines.
•Load and unload materials and monitor vehicle gauges during operation.
•Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs and follow dispatch instructions and applicable laws.
•Perform minor servicing and maintenance, keep the vehicle clean and orderly, and refer major issues to the supervisor.

Key Requirements

•Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
•At least 2 years experience driving a mixer truck (preferred).
•Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a CDL A or CDL B license.
•Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check, and possess a valid DOT medical card.
•Must be able to follow safety procedures and DOT/company regulations, including PPE requirements (e.g., hard hat, safety toe shoes, safety glasses).
