Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide overall management administration to the project and assist in establishing project objectives and policies.
  • •Ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule via subordinate managers and supervisors.
  • •Support quality, performance, and compliance in design and construction with consultants and vendors.
  • •Make timely decisions to expedite construction completion, correct design and construction errors early, and manage phasing/scheduling.
  • •Maintain ongoing interfaces with contractors, construction managers, local school personnel, and senior project officers, including resolving field issues and change-order/contract-document matters.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus two years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Five (5) years of full-time, progressively responsible work as a technical specialist in one or more construction and design-related fields.
  • •Two (2) years must involve managing all phases of construction work on a scale and scope similar to the SCA.
  • •Baccalaureate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
