Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver cost plans and provide cost management throughout the project lifecycle, including procurement support, tendering, contract administration and cost control.
  • •Collaborate with NHS Trust, science clients and design teams to ensure robust cost management on complex refurbishments and new-build schemes.
  • •Lead tender processes and produce Tender and Value for Money reports for projects.
  • •Mentor and manage junior team members to support learning and delivery for clients.
  • •Produce cost reports, cashflows, and support the preparation of business cases for public funding approval.

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management
  • •Chartered professional in surveying with RICS or CIOB (or eligible to attain chartership)
  • •Experience in two-stage procurement processes and adherence to UK contract terms
  • •Ability to negotiate contract T&Cs for NEC and JCT forms and perform QS duties from placement to completion
  • •Experience in project controls and financial management, accurate reporting, and audit compliance
