Job Summary

Lead residential solar installation crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently. Review inventory, assemble and layout solar modules and racking, apply weather sealing, and ensure clean, orderly job sites while supporting client site and vehicle cleanup. Guide and coordinate fellow installers daily, provide leadership and technical support, participate in training, and assist with solar battery installations when assigned.

Key Responsibilities

•Review inventory at the loading dock to ensure the crew truck is stocked adequately.
•Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, electrical equipment and tools in preparation for installation.
•Assemble racking and solar modules/panels/support structures as specified in the project plan.
•Ensure a clean, orderly job site and perform project clean-up including client site and installation vehicle.
•Lead crew through safe, effective, and efficient installations while providing leadership, technical expertise, and guidance; may act as Foreperson and assist with solar battery installations when assigned.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 27.6 - 36.8 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Previous solar installation experience required; equivalent construction or military experience may be considered.
•Must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record to pass a driving background check.
•Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, including identifying and reporting safety hazards and encouraging safe work.
•Ability to establish rapport and communicate tactfully with customers and coworkers, meet deadlines/metrics, and problem-solve timely.
