Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop high-quality, detailed design packages and provide engineering procurement and field technical support to implement designs.
  • •Prepare conceptual and Title II design engineering deliverables, including calculations, analyses, construction specifications and drawings, and equipment specifications.
  • •Perform walkdowns in existing plant facilities to generate design documents and provide field support to craft personnel.
  • •Produce electrical/I&C design outputs such as conduit/cable schedules, one-line diagrams, wiring/connection/schematic diagrams, instrument loop diagrams, and related drawings.
  • •Develop control cabinet assembly drawings, system diagrams, and control logic for batch and continuous processes using analog instrumentation, distributed digital control systems, and PLCs/HMIs; support troubleshooting and design correction actions.

Salary: USD 138,285 - 235,209

Key Requirements

  • •ABET-accredited bachelor’s in electrical engineering with 20+ years of experience, or an MS with 19+ years plus more than 5 years of instrumentation and controls design experience.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance (DOE Q is highly desired, but not required to start).
  • •Demonstrated experience designing instrumentation and controls systems using the National Electrical Code, UL508A, and relevant ISA standards.
  • •Experience with Rockwell Automation industrial automation software (RSLogix, FactoryTalk View) is preferred.
  • •Preferred: a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
