Job Summary

Maintain and improve production equipment for the Mission, TX team by installing and setting up machinery, troubleshooting electrical (including PLCs and low-voltage systems) and mechanical components, and repairing fluid flow systems. Execute preventive and corrective maintenance work orders, document activities in CMMS, follow safety and regulatory procedures, and support continuous improvement and automation projects to reduce downtime and scrap.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, set up, and maintain production machines and peripheral equipment.
•Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment including PLCs, drivers, relays, capacitors, fuses, switches, and heating resistors.
•Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, cylinders, encoders, actuators, and directional control valves.
•Troubleshoot and maintain fluid flow systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, cooling, and heating systems; execute preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
•Document preventive/corrective maintenance activities in CMMS, complete regulatory/compliance documentation, and support equipment improvements to reduce downtime and scrap.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance highly recommended.
•At least two years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Technician with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic systems knowledge.
•Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical and electronic diagrams and schematics.
•Ability to analyze and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.
•Basic knowledge of low-voltage electrical installations (110/220v) and familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
