Homeowners Assistance Specialist I - Mortgage

Support mortgage borrowers to mitigate foreclosure, REO avoidance, and losses by analyzing financial and credit information and recommending best workout options. Negotiate and pre-approve settlements, explain alternatives to borrowers, and prepare settlement and approval documents. Coordinate proceeds and foreclosure holds, update systems and records for collateral status, and conduct loss analysis to guide loss mitigation decisions while adhering to FDCPA, Privacy Act, and legal/investor guidelines.
