Job Summary

Data Scientist/Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled data solutions for mission-critical DoD environments. You’ll build data pipelines, preprocessing workflows, and ML services in secure, containerized settings, collaborating with product managers, full-stack developers, and mission stakeholders. Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Palantir, AWS) and end-to-end ML workflows is highly preferred.

Job Function: Data Science & Machine Learning

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement data pipelines, pre-processing workflows, and feature engineering strategies for ML applications.
•Develop and deploy machine learning services in secure, containerized environments.
•Collaborate with product managers, full-stack developers, platform engineers, and mission stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights and decision-support tools.
•Participate in agile development processes emphasizing reproducibility, testing, and continuous delivery.
•Validate data quality and model performance, and contribute to technical documentation and communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in applied data science, machine learning engineering, or data pipeline development.
•Proficient in Python, SQL, and distributed data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Databricks, PySpark).
•Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent) with related experience; education details: 3+ years experience for degree alternatives.
•Experience developing ML models from training to deployment using standard tools/libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost, MLflow).
•Familiarity with MLOps, API development, and secure cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure/Palantir Foundry).
