Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of engineering projects, including drawings covering plant services.
  • •Prepare, review, and approve engineering designs, technical specifications, BOQ, and process flows; estimate investment costs and optimize for production efficiency and reliability.
  • •Coordinate across plant operations, maintenance, procurement, and external contractors/vendors to integrate projects without disrupting daily production.
  • •Manage vendors and contractors: draft RFPs, evaluate bids, negotiate technical terms, and supervise installation and commissioning.
  • •Lead commissioning and handover, including testing, validation, documentation, SOPs, training, and ensure compliance with plant safety protocols and QEHS/legal standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • •3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Project Engineer or Plant Engineer in manufacturing, production, or heavy industrial environments.
  • •Experience managing capital expenditure (Capex) projects from cradle to grave.
  • •Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills for shop-floor operators, contractors/vendors, and senior management.
  • •Proficiency with engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and project management tools (MS Word, Excel, MS Project), plus knowledge of industrial equipment, piping, automation systems, and plant utilities.
