Key Responsibilities

  • •Install and configure SAP HANA database systems, including multi-tenant (MDC) and scale-out environments, and provision tenant databases.
  • •Administer and monitor systems (start/stop, parameter tuning, health checks, housekeeping tasks, and resource usage via HANA tools).
  • •Design and execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies, including system refreshes and HSR replication/failover.
  • •Manage security and user administration (roles, privileges, authentication, encryption, auditing) and coordinate patching and hardening.
  • •Optimize performance by diagnosing bottlenecks, resolving slow queries and memory pressure, and coordinating upgrades and landscape support across DEV/QA/UAT/PROD.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of experience in SAP HANA and database administration.
  • •Strong expertise in SAP HANA 2.0 administration, Db2, QLIK, and MAXDB, including HANA system replication, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • •Proficiency in Linux OS administration (SUSE/RHEL) and knowledge of HANA/Db2 architecture, memory management, and column-store concepts.
  • •Experience supporting SAP applications (including NetWeaver integration) and using SQL for performance monitoring and trace analysis.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA is optional but preferred.
