Job Summary

Join a 12-month rotational program supporting Carta’s auditable reporting services across 409A valuations, QSBS attestations, fund tax, VC/PE implementations, financial reporting, portfolio data collection, and capital call lines of credit. You’ll use AI tools, scripting, and CLI workflows to automate financial processes, collaborate with customers on deliverables and client work, spot inefficiencies, and share insights with engineering and product through testing and bug reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Use AI tools, scripting, and CLI-based workflows to complete tasks and automate financial processes.
•Support customers through deliverable and client-facing work on 409A valuations, tax reporting, fund implementations, and portfolio data collection.
•Identify inefficiencies in workflows and turn them into repeatable, scalable systems.
•Provide feedback to engineering and product through testing, bug reporting, and process insights.
•Build expertise in private markets, AI tools, and Carta’s ERP vision across rotating teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 68,170 - 80,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•Strong interest in AI and automation as tools to augment thinking.
•Knowledge of financial statements and common financial concepts.
•Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to shifting priorities.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diplomacy under pressure.
