Job Summary

Provide metallurgical guidance for the nickel processing plant, performing production support test work and plant metallurgical measurements. Ensure metallurgical KPIs are available, reported, and analyzed daily to improve performance. Conduct and lead metallurgical projects, troubleshoot emergent issues, maintain HSE standards, develop operating methods/SOPs, and support operations with technical problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide metallurgical guidance and conduct production support test work where required to improve plant performance.
•Perform metallurgical measurements in the plant and ensure metallurgical KPIs are available, reported, and analyzed daily.
•Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and develop solutions for emergent problems and opportunities.
•Lead identification, detailed planning, and execution of metallurgical projects to optimize process plant performance.
•Maintain HSE standards and provide technical support/troubleshooting to the operations team to achieve plant production targets.

Key Requirements

•1–2 years’ experience in mineral processing is preferred but not essential.
•Nickel flotation and talc removal circuit experience is advantageous.
•Degree in extractive metallurgy, mineral processing, or related field.
•Full grade twelve (G12) certificate.
•Basic health and safety knowledge including job safety analysis.
