Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop I&C design documents (drawings, specifications, design basis calculations) with minimal oversight.
  • •Ensure compliance with codes/standards, internal procedures, and governing regulations; perform quality reviews for engineering documents.
  • •Work independently and collaborate cross-discipline to meet project goals; provide communication and leadership.
  • •Prepare and review control deliverables (control narratives, cause/effect, system architecture, instrument layouts, wiring/interconnection diagrams, PLC layouts, loop drawings).
  • •Develop and perform reviews of vendor drawings and participate in P&ID and project review meetings, including FAT and bid evaluation support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related field) from an ABET-accredited program, or an associate degree with relevant industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • •7-10 years of relevant instrumentation engineering experience.
  • •Advanced knowledge of instrumentation and applicable design standards (e.g., API, NFPA, ISA, PIP, IEC, IEEE, ISO, NACE, NESC).
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills with engineering and non-engineering audiences.
  • •Proficiency with SPI (Intools) and AutoCAD, plus strong control-systems knowledge (PLC, DCS) and industrial networking protocols.
