Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day support for concept studies/strategies with hands-on design, including leading planning applications, technical approval submissions, and construction drawing issue.
  • •Contribute to development projects across sectors and clients.
  • •Support multiple varied multi-disciplinary project/client accounts concurrently.
  • •Provide guidance and support to experienced and developing technical staff within the team.
  • •Engage in client engagement, stakeholder management, design team liaison, and help ensure projects are delivered to budget, programme, technical standards, and legal requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Knowledge and experience in highway design, drainage strategy and design, flood risk assessment and management, utility design, and the development industry.
  • •Ability to produce infrastructure masterplans, site appraisals, technical reports, design calculations, and construction drawings.
  • •Knowledge of relevant design codes (e.g., Water UK Sewerage Sector Guidance, Design Manual for Roads & Bridges, Manual for Streets, local authority design guidance) and preparation of drawings for contract documentation and technical approvals.
  • •Ability to use or direct and check relevant software including InfoDrainage, Civils 3D and/or PDS.
  • •Postgraduate (or equivalent) experience and at least nearing Chartership, or equivalent commercial experience and responsibility.
