Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, deliver, and maintain operators and maintenance work instructions and plans for SMT equipment processes and PCBA-specific instructions.
  • •Plan and support PCBA SMT prototypes for NPI and transferred PCBA projects, using statistical analysis to optimize yield and minimize defect rates.
  • •Support industrialization delivery milestones (process flow, PFMEA, PPAP) and influence PCB/PCBA design through DFM reviews with R&D.
  • •Track and improve SMT line cycle times by PCBA SKU, update SMT RCCP with the production manager, and handle ECO/MCO implementation for SMT.
  • •Program and set up SMT equipment (DMC lasering, solder paste printing, 3D SPI, pick&place, reflow, 3D AOI) and provide technical support for machine improvements, OEE, and breakdowns.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
  • •5+ years of experience in PCBA SMT manufacturing engineering.
  • •Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • •Expertise in SMT manufacturing processes and equipment setup/programming (equipment programing/set-Up).
  • •Strong knowledge and application of IPC-A-610 Class 3 (certification is a strong advantage).
