Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the manufacturing and qualification of mission-critical flight hardware.
  • •Develop, optimize, and qualify LPBF processes for high-performance alloys.
  • •Define and manage material characterization campaigns and analyze resulting test data.
  • •Take over build preparation, LPBF process simulation, and process monitoring data analysis.
  • •Execute qualification and certification activities and troubleshoot manufacturing challenges to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Hands-on experience with metal LPBF systems in an industrial environment.
  • •Experience in LPBF process development, material and part verification.
  • •Knowledge of material characterization methodologies, including selection and interpretation of material properties and mechanical testing data.
  • •Proficiency in CAD for part design modification, LPBF build design, and support generation; experience with Siemens NX and PLM tools like Teamcenter is a plus.
