Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a sourcing team of 3 focused on the harness commodity, providing coaching, mentorship, and process strategic guidance while fostering a high-performance culture
  • •Develop and manage the supply base to support sourcing for wire harnesses (copper & fiber), connectors, and associated mechanical components
  • •Coordinate with multiple sub-assembly teams across the satellite to align their schedules with top-level satellite planning, ensuring clear and accurate MRP signals across programs with at least 90% accuracy to minimize mixed signals for buyers and vendors
  • •Partner with the internal program teams, engineering and supply chain leadership to lead sourcing decisions for critical vendors, ensuring strong alignment with program priorities, material requirements, and overall company strategic objectives
  • •Partner with the full engineering team to drive on-time drawing releases and improve pre-release/risk-buy BOM communication processes

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management, or material cost control; advanced degree and 4+ years in one or more of the above; or 10+ years in lieu of degree
