Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide direct and indirect patient care for a defined patient population using the nursing process and within scope of practice under guidance of a preceptor or designated RN.
  • •Assess patient signs, symptoms, reactions, behaviors, and general appearance to identify normal vs abnormal characteristics.
  • •Plan and implement patient care based on assessment and validated peers, including reporting, referrals, and emergency procedures when indicated.
  • •Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring outcomes against patient goals, and recommending necessary adjustments.
  • •Document all direct and indirect patient care accurately in the electronic medical record and collaborate with healthcare teams through communication and problem-solving.

Key Requirements

  • •Provide nursing care in a safe and effective manner to assigned patients and families, following established nursing regimes and scope of practice frameworks.
  • •Use nursing assessment and care planning processes to deliver direct and indirect patient care, including medication administration and therapeutic interventions.
  • •Adhere to therapeutic standards and quality-of-care practices, measuring outcomes and making/recommending adjustments as needed.
  • •Perform clinical skills including basic assessment, phlebotomy, skin tests, immunizations, and initiation of peripheral venous access.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and minimum 3 years of nursing experience (1 year in GCC preferred), with knowledge of pharmacology/medication management and patient assessment (L2).
