Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the origination team by pre-screening opportunities and helping grow new transactions.
  • •Contribute to building and managing a worldwide-insured portfolio of sovereign and private obligors, focused on export & trade finance and project finance.
  • •Evaluate and monitor credit risk for insurance cover inquiries, performing sectorial, financial, and legal risk analysis in coordination with country risk analysts.
  • •For complex transactions (e.g., pre-export finance, aircraft financing, project finance, reserve-based lending), assess the project and financing scheme and engage with origination on deals.
  • •Manage the live portfolio via risk monitoring, mitigation proposals, waiver requests, and participation in credit reviews, deciding within underwriting authority or submitting to Credit Committee.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of experience in Structured Finance (project/export finance) or Trade Credit Insurance, banking, multilateral/ECA, or single-risk medium term credit insurance, with exposure to corporates & trade finance.
  • •Strong analytical skills across corporate/financial, sectorial, ESG and political/geopolitical risk, and transactional analysis.
  • •Experience reviewing and commenting on loan documentation, including complex legal structures.
  • •Proficiency working under time constraints in a dynamic environment.
  • •Fluent English and ability to work in a multicultural environment; familiarity with emerging markets/geopolitics; experience in project/export finance is appreciated.
