Job Summary

Lead overall program execution for materials management on the SM-3 IIA program within the Naval Power business unit. Own materials forecasts, budgets, EAC support, and supplier performance by driving PO placement, requisitions, RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, and KPI implementation with the supply base. Manage procurement strategy execution (including negotiation strategy and risk/opportunity management) while coordinating across Program Managers, IPTs, and Supply Chain. Onsite in Tucson, Arizona.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage execution of processes, standards, and operational plans supporting procurement strategy, including RFPs, risk and opportunities, EAC, IMS management, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability.
•Own material forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
•Manage material budgets and support EACs.
•Drive purchase requisition generation and purchase order placement/management to meet cost and schedule objectives.
•Implement supplier engagements and review performance metrics, acting proactively to resolve program and functional issues.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years experience.
•Minimum 3 years experience in a supply chain role or related role such as Production Control, Operations, Finance, or Supplier Engineering.
•Experience supporting project management responsibilities including risk and opportunity management and briefing in customer forums.
•Experience with operations, supply chain, financial, contracting, or negotiating experience.
•Experience working in cross-functional teams to achieve program and organizational goals.
