Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up, wind, and insulate primary and/or secondary transformer coils using defined procedures/specifications on computer-controlled coil winding machines.
  • •Interpret winding specifications; set mandrel size and related materials; install/adjust devices and dereeling mechanisms; verify alignment and measurements.
  • •Label coils with ID number, work order number, part number, and machine number.
  • •Perform rework on damaged/defective coils and conduct minor adjustments and routine winding machine upkeep.
  • •Oversee and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols; operate overhead cranes/hoisting equipment; log scrap metal and follow safety, housekeeping (5S+), and disposal procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •No relocation benefit is being offered; only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Nacogdoches, TX facility will be considered.

  • •Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling.
