Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for construction projects using specifications and cost drivers to support project budgets.
  • •Monitor project budgets throughout construction by tracking expenditures, identifying variances, and forecasting future costs.
  • •Support tendering by preparing tender documents, analyzing bids, and assisting with contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • •Administer construction contracts by reviewing terms, processing change orders, and supporting resolution of contractual disputes and claims.
  • •Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, support quality inspections/audits, and contribute to HSE initiatives and incident reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years working experience, including 3 years relevant quantity surveying experience.
  • •Experience preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects based on specifications, materials, and labor.
  • •Ability to perform quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings and prepare Bills of Quantities.
  • •Knowledge of measurement principles and standards (e.g., International Principles of Measurement 1979, NRM2, CESSMMIII, QSSM, QCS, FIDIC).
  • •ERP functional skills are required, preferably SAP; also strong working knowledge of computer-based quantification systems (e.g., CCS/Candy) and Microsoft Office.
