Job Summary

Serve as the single point of contact for the Base Operations and Maintenance Support (BASOPS) contract, providing functional leadership for the installation Department of Public Works programs. Own engineering, maintenance, operations, and quality management performance, ensuring contract objectives, documentation, and deliverables are met on time. Direct BASOPS staff performance, manage budgeting and cost trends, and maintain compliance across training, safety, health, legal, and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure work performed under the PWS meets all requirements and responsibilities.
•Hold authority and accountability for contract activities and performance, including making decisions about performance and contract changes.
•Establish and sustain a performance-based organization using best practices and continuous process improvement to improve service and reduce costs.
•Direct and monitor BASOPS staff performance, resolving issues and maintaining communication with staff, customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
•Track and analyze project costs, oversee planning and budgeting, ensure compliance with training and certification requirements, and serve as primary point of contact with the Government for contract performance matters.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 94,466 - 160,631 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, or architectural disciplines, and a minimum of 10 years’ management experience in facilities management.
•Secret Clearance Required.
•Experience with General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS) software (strength).
•Experience with RS Means cost estimating software (strength).
•General knowledge of physical plant management, including exposure to building systems (HVAC, plumbing and/or electrical).
