Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage implementation of consistent risk management tools, techniques, processes, and standards within the wider programme controls framework.
  • •Analyse the programme’s risk profile with the delivery team to develop robust risk, mitigation, and contingency strategies and escalate significant risks via governance mechanisms.
  • •Develop KPIs for risk performance and build a risk reporting platform to track mitigation action status for programme management.
  • •Lead risk workshops, risk assessment processes, and risk register reviews with key stakeholders.
  • •Lead a team of risk managers supporting project delivery and drive continuous improvement of risk management processes and safety/HSE performance through risk management.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years’ experience in risk management across infrastructure programmes of significant size and complexity, preferably within aviation.
  • •In-depth knowledge of designing and implementing risk management strategies and continuous improvement practices across large programmes and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • •Experience of risk reporting and implementing mitigation actions.
  • •In-depth understanding of the design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in engineering/construction sectors.
  • •Good knowledge of EU and Irish legislation, law, and best practice in risk management, plus understanding of project governance and construction procurement processes.
