Job Summary

Serve as a subject-matter expert in the Financial Reporting group, supporting SEC and FERC financial statement preparation. Lead preparation and review of SEC filings (Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and oversee compliance with GAAP, SEC rules, and SOX. Conduct technical accounting research, assess new standards, and provide recommendations. Support FERC and OPUC reporting, assist with SOX 302/404 compliance, and help advance ESG reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead preparation and review of SEC filings (Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and ensure timely, compliant reporting.
•Review and support other SEC-related reporting, including earnings releases, proxy statements, and annual shareholder reporting.
•Prepare and support annual FERC Form 1, quarterly FERC Form 3-Q, and OPUC supplemental reports while ensuring compliance.
•Perform technical accounting research on new/proposed standards and complex transactions, documenting issues and recommending outcomes.
•Provide support for the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) 302/404 compliance program and related financial systems activities.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
•5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
•Strong accounting and financial reporting skills with the ability to research and analyze complex issues.
•Intermediate knowledge of GAAP and regulatory accounting theory and practices.
•CPA certification is preferred.
