Job Summary

Provide ongoing administration and technical support for Windows systems, ensuring availability and reliability across multiple locations. You’ll evaluate and integrate new operating system versions, drivers, and hardware; remediate daily incident tickets; monitor and tune performance; and implement security, compliance, and backup/disaster recovery procedures. Own system run enhancement testing and staging, coordinate client contact, and ensure 24x7 after-hours support.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide ongoing systems administration support including installation, customization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware/software systems.
•Support Windows system availability and reliability across multiple locations, including OS version, driver, and hardware evaluation and integration.
•Monitor and tune systems for optimum performance in standalone and multi-tiered environments; implement appropriate system security.
•Handle operational responsibilities such as daily incident ticket remediation, system compliance, run enhancement testing and staging, and policy/procedure enhancements.
•Prescribe backup and disaster recovery procedures, direct recovery operations, and ensure 24x7 after-hours support.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
•Excellent knowledge of systems software/hardware, networks, and operating systems.
•Exceptional knowledge of processes and tools for system management, problem reporting, change management, and support tools.
•Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
•Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
