  • •Analyze commercial loan credit by conducting and reviewing comprehensive financial analysis for diverse industries and company sizes.
  • •Prepare highly complex Credit Approval Summary (CAS) packets manually and through Moody’s CreditLens.
  • •Review financial statement spreads and credit approval packets completed by other analysts and trainees.
  • •Research and understand complex legal loan documentation and resolve errors based on reviewed work.
  • •Serve as SME for spread/CAS compilation processes and support loan committee responsibilities as secretary; create pricing worksheets for loan and relationship profitability.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, with a preference for Finance or Accounting, or equivalent education/experience.
  • •3+ years of prior credit or financial analyst experience in commercial lending or credit administration.
  • •Intermediate to expert knowledge of financial concepts and financial statements using financial/accounting principles.
  • •Intermediate to expert understanding of key financial ratios (cash flow, leverage, debt service coverage).
  • •Intermediate knowledge of loan structure (cash flow thresholds, collateral pools, covenants) and Moody’s CreditLens processes.
