Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform technical inspections and maintenance on heavy equipment, tactical vehicles, and MHE during the turn-in process.
  • •Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; perform preventive and corrective maintenance per Army TMs.
  • •Repair and service engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and hydraulic systems; conduct lubrication and part replacement.
  • •Record inspections, maintenance, and repairs using Army-approved forms and systems; maintain work orders and job completion records in line with ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
  • •Coordinate with supply technicians/inspectors during mass turn-in events and prepare equipment for storage, transfer, or disposal, following safety and compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in heavy equipment or military maintenance (preferred).
  • •3–5 years of experience as a mechanic on military or heavy equipment.
  • •Experience with U.S. Army tactical vehicles, combat systems, or MHE (strongly preferred).
  • •Knowledge of U.S. Army maintenance standards and technical manuals, including PMCS.
  • •Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and read Army TMs, schematics, and technical drawings.
