Key Responsibilities

•Deliver operational transport modelling (microsimulation and mesoscopic modelling) for technically challenging projects.
•Analyse modelling outputs and present findings to stakeholders with clear recommendations.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including planners, engineers and data scientists to support project delivery.
•Develop and maintain scripts/macros to streamline modelling workflows and data processing.
•Work both independently and as part of a team to manage multiple modelling tasks and deadlines.

Key Requirements

•Recognised tertiary qualifications in engineering, transport, mathematics, economics, geography, computer science, statistics, physics or equivalent discipline.
•Experience in one or more operational modelling platforms e.g. VISSIM, VisVAP, Aimsun, SIDRA.
•Experience in using and developing scripts and macros in these packages.
•Programming experience in Python, SQL, Visual Basic.
•Experience in the use of GIS techniques in the application to transport modelling outputs and analysis.
