Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly manage and develop a team of hourly associates in an Inspection Center to achieve production targets.
  • •Manage safe vehicle flow into and out of the inspection center while meeting daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities, identify strengths/weaknesses, and determine improvement opportunities.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory and lead decisions to repair or reject inventory based on cost and vehicle quality.
  • •Train associates to use quality control standards to complete repairs effectively and efficiently the first time, minimizing re-checks and delays.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process, with understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record from the last 3 years.
  • •Ability to meet physical and safety requirements, including lifting up to 60 pounds independently and working extended periods while using safety equipment.
