Job Summary

Lead programmatic strategy for the Exemplars in Global Health team, shaping EGH’s strategic direction and Bodies of Work. Partner with leadership to develop initiative-level strategies that are analytically rigorous and aligned to foundation goals, synthesize complex evidence for portfolio and strategy reviews, and orchestrate engagement with senior decision-makers. Scope time-bound strategic initiatives, provide trusted-advisor counsel, and integrate cross-cutting opportunities across PSTs and RCOs, with international travel up to 20–25%.

•Lead iterative definition and refinement of EGH’s program strategy in response to internal/external changes and lessons learned.
•Develop initiative-level strategies and Bodies of Work aligned to foundation goals and PST/RCO priorities.
•Orchestrate materials for portfolio reviews, strategy reviews, and annual planning by synthesizing evidence into clear, decision-oriented recommendations.
•Scope and lead discrete, time-bound strategic initiatives across investment, body of work, strategy, and cross-team foundation priorities.
•Provide trusted-advisor counsel to EGH leadership and proactively identify cross-cutting opportunities to integrate and scale EGH insights.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 209,100 - 324,100 annually

Key Requirements

•Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience, including leading strategy projects at a leading consulting/advisory firm and delivery/implementation experience in the private or non-profit sector; 5+ years in senior strategic-planning functions preferred.
•Strong quantitative and financial fluency, including building and interrogating models, and conveying complex information clearly through charts and tables.
•Proven structured problem-solving and strategic business planning skills, including developing and communicating frameworks to analyze core issues.
•Ability to synthesize and triangulate complex qualitative and quantitative data to support data-driven decisions and identify data gaps.
•Must have unrestricted work authorization in the country where this position is located; the Foundation does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
