Key Responsibilities

•Help clients prepare for the CFP exam by mastering and teaching key exam content areas
•Develop tailored study plans and test-prep strategies to improve accuracy, pacing, and confidence
•Support clients in applying CFP concepts to real career growth in financial planning beyond exam day
•Host virtual coaching sessions and set your own hours and rates
•Partner with Leland’s team to deliver a high-quality, supportive client experience

Key Requirements

•Hold the CFP certification or have passed the relevant CFP exam
•Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience
•Create a clear, structured approach to breaking down complex problems
•Master and teach exam content across general principles of financial planning, insurance planning, investment planning, retirement savings and income planning, tax planning, and estate planning
•Create tailored study plans and test-prep strategies focused on accuracy, pacing, and confidence leading up to exam day
