Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation tasks for AVI-SPL projects, including cable pulls/terminations, equipment and component installation, rack fabrication and wiring, and equipment layout/metal fabrication.
  • •Lead and direct installation crews on less complex projects, coordinating with the Project Manager to ensure schedules, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements are met.
  • •Read and interpret system schematics and architectural/construction blueprints to support installation and troubleshooting.
  • •Test point-to-point cabling and system functionality; diagnose and resolve technical issues with audiovisual equipment and systems.
  • •Manage tools and associated equipment on site, communicate daily site status to the Project Manager, handle on-site change requests, and coordinate with other trades; travel to job sites as required.

Key Requirements

  • •2–4 years of audiovisual installation experience.
  • •Intermediate ability to install, terminate, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic), including conduit runs and cable trays.
  • •Intermediate understanding of audio-visual systems (projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, video conferencing, digital signage, control systems).
  • •Ability to read and interpret project system schematics and architectural/construction blueprints.
  • •Valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record that meets AVI-SPL Driving Privileges standards.
