Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the planning, management, and delivery of EIAs/ESIAs from screening and scoping through approvals, conditions management, and post-consent obligations.
  • •Own scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality; drive issue resolution and proactive change control.
  • •Direct and author regulator-ready EIA/ESIA chapters and integrated assessments, including baseline definition, alternatives analysis, cumulative impact assessment, and mitigation hierarchy.
  • •Coordinate SME inputs (e.g., air, noise, hydrology/biodiversity/social) and integrate findings into a coherent assessment narrative and ESMPs.
  • •Engage regulators and manage structured stakeholder engagement; lead and contribute to proposals, technical approaches, pricing, risk registers, and client development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related field.
  • •8–12+ years delivering EIA/ESIA in consultancy.
  • •Experience leading EIAs for major urban development, transport, energy, water and/or industrial projects.
  • •Proven ability engaging UAE regulators and navigating local permitting, with IFI standards experience advantageous.
  • •Competence with GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS) and strong report writing, QA/QC, and integration of multi-discipline inputs.
