Key Responsibilities

  • •Run monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities for the local entity, including trend and variance analysis.
  • •Perform balance sheet reconciliations and oversee accruals and related accounting processes.
  • •Prepare annual statutory financial statements in line with local statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • •Prepare and submit VAT returns and prepare and file all applicable tax returns.
  • •Coordinate communications with the tax office, banks, auditors, and consultants; oversee accounts payable and check payments.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of accounting experience in a similar environment.
  • •Advanced English is a must; German, Italian, or French is an asset.
  • •Professional knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
  • •Strong background in local code and standards, with Swiss GAAP and US GAAP considered a plus.
  • •High discipline, strong attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.
