Key Responsibilities

  • •Own GenAI strategy for the five pillars by identifying high-leverage AI/ML opportunities that improve productivity and customer-facing capabilities.
  • •Establish and scale agentic development workflows that use specs to drive AI-assisted code generation, including guardrails and reference architectures.
  • •Own long-term platform architecture across personalization, experimentation at scale, AI/ML automation, and cross-pillar data integrity.
  • •Lead complex architectural decisions (e.g., identity schemas, experiment assignment, AdTech-to-Conversions signal loops, payment authorization flows) and drive impactful migrations.
  • •Coach and grow staff and senior engineers through design review rigor, strong observability practices, and post-incident learning; champion AI-native practices and documented architectural standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode) in production or near-production.
  • •10+ years of software engineering with 5+ years at principal level in a high-growth, cloud-native environment.
  • •Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven patterns (Kafka), with deep AWS experience.
  • •Strong proficiency in Go, Kotlin, Python, or TypeScript, plus experience designing and operating large-scale multi-region systems.
  • •Working knowledge of experimentation design and analysis, with ability to trace instrumentation to business metrics using SQL and BI tooling.
