Job Summary

Support dam safety engineering projects by reviewing geotechnical, hydraulic/hydrologic, structural, and construction information. Perform structural calculations and analyses for concrete dams and appurtenant structures, including stability and strength checks. Produce structural evaluation reports, drawings, and specifications, and perform detail checks and quality reviews of other engineers’ work. Coordinate with CAD teams and communicate with multidisciplinary stakeholders under supervision of an experienced dam engineer.

Key Requirements

•BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.
•Master’s in civil engineering with focus on Structural Engineering is advantageous.
•4-8 years of experience, with a minimum of 4 years in relevant Structural Engineering.
•Registered as a Professional Engineer with ECSA or working towards registration.
•Previous experience with dams, levees, or water-retaining structures, with strong English communication and Microsoft Office knowledge.
