Key Responsibilities

  • •Remove new chicks from hatchery baskets and load them onto a belt.
  • •Remove/stack newly counted chicks from the conveyer belt into chick boxes.
  • •Transfer dirty baskets to the tray washer and remove/disinfect clean baskets.
  • •Clean and disinfect the pull room.
  • •Operate equipment and maintain workflows such as using hoses/box washer, adding pads to chick boxes for the next day, and assisting with nightly laundry as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •At least six consecutive months of work experience with the same employer, with no employment gaps greater than six months in the last 36 months (up to 18 months for laid-off caregiving).
