Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute complex EMC test plans and procedures for advanced products.
  • •Perform radiated and conducted emissions/immunity testing in anechoic chambers and shielding rooms, and ensure lab readiness.
  • •Partner with hardware design teams to apply EMC best practices, including grounding, shielding, component selection, and PCB layout strategies.
  • •Analyze test results to identify root causes of EMI failures and recommend mitigation and product performance improvements.
  • •Create EMC control plans, test plans/procedures/reports and provide guidance and mentorship to junior EMC test engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 5 years in EMI/EMC design, testing, or a related field.
  • •Deep understanding of electromagnetic theory, circuit fundamentals, and RF principles.
  • •Knowledge of EMC principles for PCB layout, component selection, and filter design.
  • •Working knowledge of standards such as ISO Vehicle, IEC, CISPR, FCC, MIL-STD-461, and RTCA/DO-160.
  • •Experience using test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, signal generators, RF amplifiers, and antennas), including creating TILE profiles (or equivalent control software).
