Job Summary

Provides technical design and CADD support to engineers and project managers to produce designs and specifications for planning, transportation, infrastructure, and technical services. Generates design deliverables for projects of varying scope, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and maintain quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Collect, compile, and analyze data from the site, surveys, blueprints, and other sources to support drafting and design activities for single- and multi-site projects.
•Use 3D CAD software and collaborate with engineers to resolve design details and prepare precise drawings for projects of moderate complexity.
•Follow standard practices to provide technical design support including GD&T and quantity calculations, ensuring designs are maintainable and meet specifications.
•Act as consultant on progress and problem resolution; may oversee drafting/design support on projects within a district.
•Verify calculations and interpretation of plans and specifications, escalate or resolve errors, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

•9+ years of relevant post-education experience in drafting and design support.
