Job Summary

Director leading a regional Lakebase Sales Specialists team in the Central region, partnering with Account Executives and Solution Architects to grow the Lakebase business. You’ll drive revenue growth, manage a high-performing team, and execute a developer/platform sales motion across enterprise accounts, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and GTM to scale adoption of Databricks Lakebase in modern application architectures.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive Revenue Growth by owning, managing, and exceeding quarterly and annual consumption and booking targets for Lakebase within the region, and building a healthy pipeline across modernization and operational workload opportunities.
•Lead and Develop the Specialist Team by recruiting, hiring, and coaching on deal strategy, qualification, and executive engagement to foster accountability and customer focus.
•Execute the Developer and Platform Sales Motion by implementing the global strategy for selling to developers, platform engineering, and architecture organizations and enabling the regional sales team to identify opportunities.
•Engage Strategic Customers and Partners by establishing trusted relationships with CIOs/CTOs and platform leaders, positioning Databricks Lakebase as a premier data platform, and collaborating with cloud providers and ISVs to accelerate adoption.
•Provide Field Feedback to Product and GTM by delivering structured regional insights to Product/Engineering, and partnering with Product Marketing to refine messaging and differentiation.

Key Requirements

•Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, cloud platform, database, or developer platform sales.
•Experience directly managing high-performing enterprise sales or specialist teams.
•Demonstrated success in executing specialised GTM motions or scaling new product lines within a larger matrixed organisation.
•Strong technical baseline and understanding of modern application architectures, including APIs, microservices, real-time systems, and distributed applications.
•Proven track record of selling into CIO, CTO, architecture, and platform engineering organisations.
